The walks are intended to encourage people to use the train to see some of Yorkshire's finest scenery. Join us for an enjoyable day out and learn about the history of the Penistone Line and its surroundings. Bring along a flask and sandwiches for the all day walks. Good footwear and waterproofs are recommended. All walks are at an easy pace, accompanied children are welcome. Please have your dog on a lead.

Please note:
A) On our usual linear walks, which start at one Penistone Line station and finish at another, it is cheaper to buy a return ticket to the more distant station, rather than purchase two single tickets.

B) All our walks are carefully planned, but we must point out that you are responsible for your own safety.

The walks program will be added to this page as details become available.
